The Meetings section brings together all collaborative activities within the VMAP Standards Community. It is organized into two types of meetings: community-wide gatherings and working group sessions.
Assembly Meetings are held quarterly for all members of the VMAP SC association, covering governance, financial reporting, and consolidated updates from projects and working groups.
The working group meetings are where the technical groundwork happens. Two active groups drive the evolution of the standard: the Complete Model Storage, and Additive Manufacturing working groups — each focused on extending VMAP’s capabilities within their respective domains. Sensor & Experimental Data working group was closed in 2024 after the VMAP Specifications v1.2.0 for measurement data was released.
