VMAP Sensor & Experimental Data Working Group

VMAP Sensor & Experimental data working group aims to standardize the storage of measured and experimental data within the manufacturing industry. Group members include DLR SY, Hagen Stiftung, SWERIM, FhG SCAI, SICK AG, FhG IZFP, University of Patras, with the use-cases coming from plastic and steel industry, and aerospace do-main. A clear application from the blow moulding domain, where the stereography and thermography data need to be incorporated into the validation process along with the simulation data. This use case needs a standard format to store both test and simulation data, to carryout validation process without any loss of information.

The discussions in this group have been closed for the time being. There is already an extended VMAP Standard format available in v1.2.0. To download this, please visit this page.
