LICENSE TERMS of the VMAP SC
- Definitions
- The VMAP Standard consists of the following:
- VMAP-GENERAL-INFORMATION: These documents describe background, engineering domain, and some application examples of the VMAP Standard. Regular updates of these documents are published on www.vmap.eu.com.
- VMAP-SPECIFICATIONS: These documents specify in detail the programming interface (API), the internal structure of the VMAP IO Library, and the data-structure and storage format of the VMAP data-files. Any implementation and adaption of the VMAP-SPECIFICATIONS must be fully compatible with the specified data-structure and storage-format. Regular updates of this document are published on www.vmap.eu.com.
VMAP-SOFTWARE: Reference software implementation, which includes a software library, of the VMAP-SPECIFICATIONS. VMAP-SOFTWARE will be made available on request and under these license conditions. This software will be provided in source code and can be modified by software developers during their interface implementation process. Such an interface implementation will only be conformant to VMAP Standards, if the input and output is fully compatible with the data-structure defined in the VMAP-SPECIFICATIONS.
VMAP-TESTSET: Collection of data and simulation models, made available on request and under these license conditions. These test data can be used for testing interface implementations.
Combined Work is any larger work that contains software parts of the VMAP-IMPLEMENTATION and that implements the VMAP-SPECIFICATIONS, e.g. in any product, machine, IT infrastructure.
Licensor is a person that has authorized VMAP SC to use and grant this license under Licensor’s copyright in the VMAP-IMPLEMENTATION as well as VMAP SC granting this license.
You is a person who accepts a license under the following conditions by performing acts that would constitute an infringement if a license is not granted.
